One of the world’s best known rappers arrives in Kosovo on Saturday, July 10, but, unlike previous big-name stars to visit Pristina, his requests for fast food are not set to break the bank.
According to organisers, Snoop’s list of requests was "long but there were no requests impossible to be satisfied".
Valdrin Lluka, the director of marketing and sales at Z Mobile, told us: "There were some things here and there that you can’t find in Kosovo, like McDonalds or KFC, but all were negotiable and will be fulfilled in accordance with his requests." He added that, unlike other artists, Snoop Dogg had been flexible and had accepted to dine on Pristina fast food.
This event is to promote the relatively new mobile phone company Z Mobile. Tickets for the concert are 25euro, which include a new Z Mobile sim card with 25 euro credit. Asked why Snoop Dogg was chosen ahead of other artists, Lluka said: "We considered many singers and contacted quite a few, but we got the best offer from Snoop Dogg, considering his quality as a singer, as well as for the time and price he offered." The rapper is also currently on tour in Europe. When asked about Snoop Dogg’s response to the invitation to perform in Kosovo and whether he knew where Pristina is located,Lluka said: "We do not know whether he knew where Pristina is located, but we believe that he knows now."
